Prague – the Frenstat based company Rolofol completed the first phase of investments into its production capacities.

The company increased its total production capacity to 5,000 tons of polyethylene packaging materials per year with estimated revenues CZK 250 million.

“Rolofol became thanks to this investment the only producer of stretch foil in the Czech Republic” mentioned the company in its statement. The company raised the funds for the investment in 2005, partly from the share capital increase and partly from the bank financing, in total CZK 60 million.

Further funds amounting to CZK 6.0 million raised the company after it succeeded in a tender for grants from structural EU funds within the operational program Industry and Enterprise.

“Thanks to these investments we managed to triple the turnover and number of employees to almost 30 persons and we are still searching for capable sales persons and staff.” stated the company. Rolofol sells the stretch foil in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland.

For next year the company shareholders plan further investments and increase of production that will enable the company dominate the market of this type of foil in the Central and Eastern Europe.
